Thinking about using a credit repair company to repair your credit?

Let me be the first to say that everyone has the right to repair their own credit, the Fair Credit Reporting Act protects our right to do so.

So why do people turn to credit repair companies if they can fix their own credit?

Bottom line, to make a case it boils down to three things:

1) Convenience – Many of us would simply prefer to have all the work done for us. The majority of us have hectic lives with busy schedules and simply don’t want to take the time to do all the work involved in the credit repair process; from analyzing credit reports, creating and initiating the dispute process, monitoring results, following up and following through with ongoing communication and counter- responses with the credit reporting agencies, etc.
