iUpdate DNB

When was the last time you reviewed your D&B business credit report? iUpdate DNB

Did you know you can review your profile at anytime at no cost whatsoever?

iUpdate DNB is a simple tool you can use to ensure the Dun and Bradstreet database contains the most up-to-date information on your business.

iUpdate provides you with the ability to review and update your company profile online, free of charge, 24 hours a day.

In order to take advantage of this free tool you will need to register with iUpdate DNB. This also goes for previously registered users of eUpdate DNB. If your company is not listed with Dun & Bradstreet then you will need to get a DUNS Number first before registering with iUpdate.

Here is how to register step-by-step:

Step 1: Lookup Your Business

Go to iUpdate DNB and enter your business information to find out if you’re listed. If you find a business match then select the appropriate box and click on the next tab.

Step 2: Verify Business Identity

During this step you will need to pass through personal verification. Remember, only current registered executive officers of your business can register the company with iUpdate DNB. This helps safeguard your company’s data because D&B uses identity matching technology to validate this information before you can proceed to the next step.

Step 3: Complete Authorization Exam

After iUpdate DNB validates your identity which takes a matter of seconds you will be taken to an authorization exam. You must answer three challenging questions for further verification. Example, ‘What month were you born? ‘What state is your driver’s license issued?’

Step 4: Set Security Settings

In this step of the process you will create a password for your account. You will also need to choose three security questions with answers from a list provided. Each time you log into your iUpdate DNB account you will need to answer two of these security questions.

Step 5: Finalize Registration

After you finish this step the registration process is complete, so look for an email notification that contains your password information.

Once you login to iUpdate DNB you will notice that there are six major tab functions:

  1. Start Update Process
  2. View/Print Company Report
  3. Submit Financial Statement
  4. Investigate Payment Experience
  5. Data Update Policies and FAQs
  6. User Profile

Take the time to navigate the system and verify that all your company information is up to date and reported accurately. This will ensure that your company profile is accurate and properly reflects the creditworthiness of your business.
